Hotel Royal in Senta

The Royal Hotel can be found in the city centre in very close vicinity of the river Tisa.

The unique aesthetics of the Royal Hotel are all thanks to Magyar Ede an architect from Szeged. It was built in a modern architectural style, but elements of Art Nouveau can also be found on the building. During its reconstruction in 1967 a part of its decorations were covered up, nevertheless it was declared a monument in 1985. It was newly reconstructed in 2007 when its original columns, wreaths and ornaments were saved. The hotel has 4 well equipped suits, 16 rooms with one bed, 31 rooms with two beds and 14 rooms with three beds. Most of the rooms have a view of the city park and the main square. Its restaurant offers a variety of Hungarian and Serbian traditional dishes, as well as local and foreign drinks. The inside walls of the hotel are decorated with paintings which depict the 1697 battle of Zenta. The elegant ceremonial hall is used for business meetings, receptions, lunches, weddings and for other events. The hotels game room and garden is also open for guests.
