Kanjiža is primarily known as a "city of silence", but this is not exactly the case. In the municipality, the industry is growing faster and more and more tourism is emerging. The Serbian-Hungarian border, the vicinity of the river Tisa as well as the Kanjiža thermal pools provide an excellent basis for the development of tourism. We can also mention the flourishment of rural tourism. The "Tandari" and etno house "Turi", where beautiful landscapes offer peace and entertainment to tourists are getting more popular by day. The visitors are expecting a variety of cultural, gastronomic and sporting events.
