Zrenjanin municipality is the largest municipality in Vojvodina, and in Serbia it is the second in size. It is located in the central Banat and is home to various cultural and traditional arts. This is where the oldest theater in Vojvodina was built in 1839. Numerous musical and visual sights can be found in the surroundings such as theaters, cultural societies and the city museum. In the municipality there are beautiful parks for nature lovers, and lovers of bike riding and bike tours are available from any of the surrounding 21 villages. Begej is the most important river in the municipality, where visitors can rest and walk on the beach. Of the building landmarks one should mention the town house, the Roman Catholic cathedral of St. John of Nepomuk, and "mali most" - the Little Bridge, which is also the oldest bridge in the city.
