The municipality of Bačka Topola is located in the North Bačka District, halfway between Subotica and Novi Sad. 23 settlements belong to this municipality. Lake Topola is located near Bačka Topola and is considered the municipality's symbol. Its water is clear and suitable for bathing and its beach is well-kept.
